ANGER. a feeling not lost on anakin skywalker. it’s one emotion he’s NEVER been able to contain, and how could he? he grew up a SLAVE, and lost his mother because of it. he BLAMES himself for her death, his weaknesses && inability to help her gnaws at his conscience. possibly one of the first events to LEAD to not only a more uncontrollable kind of anger, but a more DANGEROUS one. of course he’s always had his former MASTER and friend, obi-wan, to help in situations where he feels himself beginning to succumb. however, with the JEDI council refusing to grant him the respect and honor he feels he DESERVES, it continues to grow. his anger, you see, is similar to a fire. at first dim ( controllable, only enough to FUEL slight RECKLESSNESS ) however, if you continue to blow and feed the flame— it will GROW. his anger, by the end of revenge of the sith has CONSUMED him with a selfish and aggressive appetite. it is why he became so easy to manipulate, so easy to control. palpatine would not have chosen him without ANGER residing inside him. 

• his ANGER is evident in his fighting styles. you will find darth vader more aggressive than skywalker. where anakin holds back, vader does NOT. vader is fueled more by emotion than his senses//the force. 
• repeatedly, anakin must be REMINDED that revenge && rage are not the jedi way. he struggles to keep them from interfering with his duties.
